IMO If no surcharge there will be a new
way of driving. Before peak hours was implemented 35% taxis in
Yishun all Yishun or woodlands only. After 8pm any cabs that reach
cbd sure got call it’s like 99%.
Actually the issue isn’t the surcharge etc it’s the demand for
that 2hrs from 9 to 1130pm everyone is in town going home. Shoppers
end at 10pm, dinners end dinner, workers finish work, friends end
their meetings, club hostess get a client to go banging. And all
this does it happen in ah wood? Ah kang? Or tampanies?
I estimate 10% of population in town. That is 450k people 10%
will be cabbing. So 45k swearing cursing chasing for 25k cabs on
the road. Half of the cab drivers will go ah wood etc. The other
half interview. WTF it’s only that 2hrs I
will make it count as a td.
U go wood kang etc no pax no connection. So who wanna go???? The
only way is the population go dinner elsewhere, shop elsewhere meet
friend elsewhere work elsewhere.
Sum up whatever the fare ajustment td not stupid. We can
analysis and we will counter.
