Normally if people ask me No Sign Board restaurant , i always suggest 414 Geylang as the Original one .

If they want to remain in town , normally i will take to Esplanade Mall , equally good .

if they want variety of choices , then East Coast Seafood centre will be my alternatives .

For convenience reason , normally i will take them to Clarke Quay Riverside Point , (outdoor) . For indoor , i will take them to RiverWalk .

Again , i will recommend them East Coast Seafood Centre for it's atmosphere , i also will emphasis , price might be a bit more .

Reason for my shift : Later they will have problems getting a cab .

Like i recommend u to suggest to them Eng Hoon Road of Tiong Bahru

Somewhere near Tiong Bahru Market , or people say Tiong Poh Road .

Inside those old HDB houses , has got some very good sea food restaurant .

Depends on timing lah. If town busy then either one of jumbo riverwalk or riverside lo. If not then east coast is not a bad idea. Ecp not jam and can get more fare. just kidding hor
