Should LTA control tds no. of hr / part-time driving otr?

BSI SG

my question is what if i am driving my own personal car, the same thing happened...and the one who got injured and died are my family members.will i still be charged? maybe not...i think he got charged cos he is driving a public transport. this is the downside of taxi driving.

probably he is following too closely den the lorry jammed his brakes, it might not be the case of tiredness. just my 2cents.

dragg SG

i asked many times and i am asking again.

why do they impose fines for such cases?

it seems most sentences imposed fines.

Poolman SG

i answer you : This is Singapore , the finest city in the world !

Poolman SG

But according to reports , he was fined $9000 , plus 5 years guntong on his driving license .

Worst is , 5 years later , at 52 , he still need to retake a driving test , to start driving again .

For what ?

Money isn't everything ... now what ?

If tired , go home and sleep .

One more trip , how much can you get ? $50 ho boh ? $50 dun have ?

What's the point ?

Putting others' life at stake ?

Sorry people .... i still insist , no way one can drive 14 hours a day .

Scientist said 8 hours is the maximum one can continuosly drive and operate a vehicle .

Poolman SG

As a friend , as a colleague , as someone that possess experience ....

An advice ....

So it is proven , dead right proven , fatigue not only can kill you while driving , also can kill others ! Everyone need money , who dun need ? Everyone thinks ciong just one more day , tmr then say ..... today u survive , tmr u survive , just once ..... Just once , game over !

We should take this example seriously .
