2 nites ago (Sat morning), my last trip fm penjuru 2 changi airpot T2 ...........$26 + $13 midnite charge = $39

3 indian nationals going back India, juz min after journey start, 1 of 'em ask "uncle, where now got sell milk tea?"

so ..... bring 'em go teban garden hawker center ...... 12 mins waiting time ..... then continue journey.

Reached T2 ...... stop meter .... total $39

2 ah nehs go out unload their luggages fm boot

last 1 talk out $monie$ ....n ..... smiling

"uncle, u tink i 1st time take taxi ?" "i also take, only $26 , NOW Y so much $39?"

I said

"hello ah neh, u every day come airport har? Come airport fm penjuru only $24 dey"

"juz now u stop 10min buy tea , cost abt $2 additional dey"

"NOW IS MEYNITE. ..... extra $13 meynite charge"

Ah Neh: "Y u never say got late nite extra charge?"

leoman: "Hoy ah neh, u say u everytime take taxi, u DONT KNOW WHEN MEYNITE AH?"

Ah Neh: "No, i only pay $26, i no $monies$ finish, u give discount"

leoman: "Sinkapo taxi cannot give discount 1 dey, wait kana fine by LTA"

leoman: "ok, u dont pay, u dont go back India ah" "I make u 1st time go police station, u miss ur flight ur prob arh"

Then, happen that another india guy (i tink sg indian) standing there heard all d commotion.

Walk over n tell (i presume explain) 2 him in tamil.

Ah Neh: "uncle , i got this $monies$ all i have ...... (counted) abt $28 + some coins.

leoman: "No, your taxi fare IS $39, U PAY $39, or u want me tell d policeman pay 4u?"

Ah neh LL (slowlyyyyy) take out 1 'nicely folded $50", (like very heart-pain) hand 2 me ........ change $11 .....n tell him "Next time u take taxi at 6am no meynite charge hor ................. prob solved.

p.s: i tink tis type ah neh is like going back fm geylang type , negotiate with TD saying they left $20, can go kian teck or penjuru during meynite 1

One funny incident i encounter was a young guy on the way to pick up his girl friend, could tell he was drinking prior boarding my cab, asked me: "Uncle, u think I can borrow a condom from u?"

My mind hang for a while, then start laughing, just told him: "I taxi driver leh, u think 7-11?
