Passenger Accent

Hi,

With no intention to discriminate anything here, a few times, I cannot understand some foreigners' english, their accent is too deep for me to understand, end up going the wrong place. I wonder if my bros and sisters here had ever come across such cases.

Then u shout back at em. i do that sometimes esp when they have speak farked up english and expect us to understand em.

Either i know the place , or i dunno the place .

They say , i dunno , then they have to take another cab , or give me a number to call someone that know .

, lau hokkien pax, some oldies still using old places name, i can hardly understand, like Or Kio tao, tiong bahru chap luck lau, tiong bahru chap lau, adjunied chap lau, ban kar kah, Cake sen kio, ang sali...wha!

Old places names i tink common 1s not a prob its the uncommon 1s that they use for places in town tats a real challenge........ :P

ya agree, those town building names also head pain, but more or less, we can find it in directory or taught ourselves, but this old names no show in directory, got one Jurong East Ang cho teng...where ar??
