SMRT TAXIS TO REVISE LOCATION SURCHARGE FOR MARINA BAY
SANDS FROM 21 FEBRUARY 2011
1. From 21 February 2011, SMRT Taxis will remove the $3 per trip
location surcharge
for trips originating from Marina Bay Sands between 1700 hours and
midnight on
Monday to Saturday.
2. The removal of the location surcharge is done in response to
LTA’s adjustment of the
ERP cordon to include the Marina Bay area as part of the Central
Business District.
3. The $3 per trip location surcharge from 0600 hours to
midnight on Sundays and
Public Holidays is still applicable.
