Hi everyone.... today is my first day on the road driving
taxi... and I sibeh blurr.
Juz want to share my experience and highlight the mistakes I
made so that other first timer can avoid it.
Me being the super road idiot... it nearly took me 3 months to
muster the courage to finally take to the road.
The best advice I learned from the seniors is that when u don't
know the place... juz ask the passengers... and today everyone
were willing to show me the way.
My Mistakes:
1. Forgot to add peak hour surcharge.
2. Forgot to add ERP charges.
3. Forgot to ON the meter.
4. 金沙 is not at sentosa

hahaha....sound like my first time too, hope u take it as a
learning curve.
by the way, even lau jiaos are still learning, there
are alway a thing or two to learn in taxi driving. And alway
tell customer that you are new TD making a living and need
guidance on road. Some customer feel more comfortable with
new driver, they can guide and talk to you freely, for lau jiao,
they dun like to talk so much.
