Questions on Taxi Stand/Stop in CBD

Hi Bros here,

Is there any Specify timing (from wat time - wat time) that we are only allow to drop and pick pax inside CBD?

As newbies, we always face difficulties in locating the nearest T/S for our pax to alight, is there any tips from Seniors here that we can easliy locate these nearest T/S.

Example: Last Fri around 8+pm pax going to Mandarin Shopping Acrade, then could not locate any stop/stand at the building along Orchard Rd, thus thought turn Cineleisure but also didn't see any so end up take risk dropping pax outside main rd of Cineleisure.

don't worry la , take some time to master the art of taxi stand .

at the meantime , just alight pax , anywhere safe .

in the event , u kena booked for it , just tell LTA u really cannot find , and not too sure the nearest t/s , and pax are rushing as well , so ......

by looking at your tvdl , i really dun think LTA will tekan you for such a minor incident .

Can I say that for night driver, as long as don't drop pax at those Double zig zag lines, the rest is ok so long as it is safe for pax and at the same time not causing obstruction to other road users? (of course must look for white ants around before stop).

of course , by principle , if u are those sweep floor type , alighting one at t/s , can connect another , like many of our counterparts , u'll be happier to do so .

If i drive at nite, i drop pax as long as it is safe, but for picking up pax, if there is a taxi stand, i will go into the stand to pick up pax. I hate that paragon taxi stand, it is not well designed, you drop off pax and cannot take another pax even there is a long Q in the taxi stand, 2 different lanes, its make both paxs and TD unhappy.

Personally, I don't like those TDs who, on the pretex of dropping pax, move to the top of the Q and then after dropping, immediately pick up another one. If like that, then what happen to those TDs queuing?? Only exception is when there is a long Q of pax but only no taxi or very few taxi in the Q.
