Ok, one vehicle breakdown experience with SMRT last night.. and
there goes my saturday night :(
Last night my break got some funny noise, in fact there is already
some sounds on previous night but is very minimal, so I didn't
really bother yet. But the problem seems to worsen yesterday
evening, and I decided to call SMRT hotline to ask for
advice. Immediately the guy ask me to wait there for my taxi
to be towed. Waited for about half an hour and the towing car
came to tow my cab away.
Early this morning at about 8 plus, receive a call from the
workshop asking me about the problem. I explained the problem
and he acknowledge my problem and said they will call back when the
car is ready. Slightly before 10am, they call back again and
said my car is ready for collection! The front brake pad and
tyres have been replaced. Not sure about other companies, but
I thought that was really efficient! So probably something
positive about SMRT.
Now on the negative part, I just drove this car for about 2
months! I know it is an old car (5 years+), but this is the
already the second time bringing the car for such major corrective
servicing. First was gear clutch assy being worned out, and
now brake pad.. I would have thought these parts have been checked
before handing over to a new hirer..
For me if after servicing got any major prob that i
need to bring in n down the car i sure F the workshop 1
