This light can come up due to many reasons. Can be any sensor,
there are many sensors including your exhaust sensor. some times,
if some sensor wire is lose or shakey, the light can come up.
Just go to the workshop which have the relevant computer to read
the code for error.
yup nowadays need to hav the diagnostic tool to find the
error codes to pinpoint the fault for new cars. U should see
the new generation of BMW bikes now running all on CAN BUS
systems. Knn anytin along the way the electrical runs wrong

the whole bike can stop running, unless u knoe how to
isolate
