here's a good joke about taking on spouse surname:
Was on the airplane for a flight to Brisbane Australia with my
ex hub. it was further more my birthday and my ex managed to
get the captain to let me sit in the jump seat during that
flight. I didnt know about it.
As I was settling into my normal window seat, I keep hearing a
air stewardess calls out repeatedly: "Mrs Yap, Mrs Yap.....Mrs
Yap....."
She was calling for me, but my ex hub was standing there,
enjoying it and laughing at me! Even the family two seats
after me was laughing because my hub was laughing and telling
them...."We are newly weds....she not used to be called Mrs Yap
yet...."
The SIA stewardess was trying to get me to go up to the captains
cabin and be strapped in.
The flight was boring......and the jump seat is
uncomfortable.
