announced that Ramesh Ramaswamy, assistant vice president of
marketing, International Division at Hughes, will be speaking at
the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA)
Singapore Satellite Industry Forum and CommunicAsia 2011. Mr.
Ramaswamy will be taking part in three panel discussions, one at
the CASBAA Forum, and two at CommunicAsia 2011.
At the CASBAA Singapore Satellite
Industry Forum, Mr. Ramaswamy will be taking part in a discussion
on the increased uptake of Ka-band technology in North America and
Europe as a means of providing lower cost satellite broadband
service, and explore possible future options, including higher
frequency bands.
At CommunicAsia 2011, he will be
sharing his views in two panel discussions: one focusing on
broadband satellite solutions in Asia, and the other on the role of
satellite technology and services in bringing the mobile market to
its true potential.
