Red Dot SG I often come across red paper stickers pasted along lift lobby and staircase landing of HDB flats whenever someone passes away. What is the function of such stickers and what is the reason for doing so?
Fantagf SG Red signifies auspicious. Whenever there is any dead in a family, according to chinese belief it is suay. So the family of the demise pastes red sticker/red paper around the lift area to ward of the suay.
