The paper said that they dont have the fund to contest at tg pagar.

Reform party also has lack of fund to contest Ang Mo Kio. And I'm not hoping for any good news on this.

Most probably we will be seeing the father and the son with no opponents.

Since the opp parties can shift their members to other parties, opp parties should help one another to fund for the contest.

Sigh!

dun they do their sums before deciding to contest, whether they have the funds or not? if they do not have the funds, then they ought to raise the funds needed isnt it, before decided to contest or not?

Yes, it is kind of a very bad image printed to the public. Lack of funds. Pap is laughing at them. Another plus point for the pap. Sigh!

Yeah right, explain the 3 corner fight at radin mas. All opposition parties only serve one purpose as priority: their own interests.

This GE is an achievement for opposition. If they put the plan into reality, this GE will only see 11 seats uncontested, as compared to the last GE in 2006 when 37 seats were uncontested.

This is a good start. The overwhelming response to many of them standing for this election is encouraging. Hope the fire never dies.

ditzy SG

That's how organised they are mah. If you ask me, I reckon last week, they didn't even pick up the damn forms.

Overwhelming response does not equate to votes.

But I hope I'm wrong.

ditzy SG

Hanor, last election online also so much noise, in the end, ha!

I don't equate overwhelming response to votes. We still have a large number of citizens love familiarity who will still vote PAP. It is habitual for them to vote PAP.

No noise no fun. Still look at it the fun is more colourful in other countries election
