I think the Presidency is the highest paying position.
Much better than a normal minister salary. 
LHL always gives this argument that cos president's pay is low,
everyone below him got their pay suppressed. come on. which rule
say president, PM or minister must earn more than their
subordinates? when former HK chief executive tung chee hwa
increased civil service pay, all his cabinet members starting
earning more than him.
