Anyway on a side note, I was pretty surprised that PM garnered a higher majority than the last time. Thought a lot would vent their anger on him but instead, he secured a higher mandate! lol. Looks like singaporeans of AMK GRC have decided that he's a popular PM after all.

I think the absorbed YCK SMC into the GRC helped him.

YCK was helmed by SHT which could have gotten him some sympathy votes from that former SMC.

Plus he did say sorry to tug at the heartstrings of those soft hearted Singaporeans.

One of the reasons aljunied switched camps was due to MM lees threat, you can't deny that pissed some people off, including GY, because GY tried damaged control by indirect retaliation of MM Lee's threat in last remaining campaign days.

Not to worry.....in 2 years time LKY will retired and the seat GY will be nominated MP for Tangjor Pagar.....

WP LTK has 3 degrees besides running his own businees. Chow Mao Shan is a corporate lawyer ( he is a partnership with a USA acclaimed law firm). Other WP credentials are equally fantastic. I doubt most of the present PAP MPs can be on equal with them.
