SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said Singaporeans should think carefully and calmly about the long-term future during the upcoming General Election.

He said this on the sidelines of a community event in Ang Mo Kio on Sunday.

"Whatever emotions that are aroused during that period, calm down, detach yourself, think carefully before you vote - which is why we have a Cooling-off Day before Polling Day. So I think in that same spirit, we really should take things in our stride," he said.

Vote PAP, pay and pay and the poor now also pay. Do you want to pay and pay until you die?

Singaporeans like to pay and pay. Can this be changed? It depends on your vote.

1) Cost of living increasing.

2) Bills increasing.

3) Ns issue (reduce to 1 yr)...

4) Children education expenses expensive.

Well, as of now, according to her, the "meaningful solutions and initiatives" still remain in a suspended state of "maybe" only.
