West Coast GRC needs a contest. It has been almost 15 years since the opposition fielded a team there.

14k a month only for MPs? And people complain about their wages? Any Departmental VP in a bank can earn that sum.

Actually it is not consider a wages but allowance, (in the past it is tax free, not sure nowadays). Thus they are allow to have a full time job also, of cos being one of the elites, most of them will also hold Independent Directors in a number of Listed Companies (3-4 on average), which will pay them good money also. (Won't be surprise that everything add up will be at least 50-100K per mths).
