Because this is singapore, surely you weren't born yesterday? How about letting Low Thia Kiang convene the commitee?

tranquilice SG

Why? Let me guess...

Maybe outside spore, there are many foriegn reporters too.

And they also will somehow publish the news on their papers.

To spread the news to other countries that Spore GE coming soon.

And to let the world know that Spore pap very confident in this coming GE.

So in future, any news about election, they must fly out of Singapore to announce.

sbst275 SG

hahahaha.. mps and ministers every time fly out of Spore. No time to stay in Spore.

They must be daft to hold the election in 2012. As in the past, they always avoid doing it near the due date.

They always like to make use of some regional or international events to announce domestic changes.

ditzy SG

If this is the case, then its confirmed april already loh.

To make opposition wait and wait.

That is one of there strategies.

it makes sense as well

u make them wait, to be surprised over e date, e speed of n day to e day, and so on.

Actually this is good news to the opposition, the longer PAP delays the election mean the opposition will have time to do more walkabout and get more residents to know them.

Ya, to make them have no time to prepare for ground works and paper works (submitting forms and so on), and all those required times and efforts too. And in the end, all messy with disagreement among the internal staff.

tranquilice SG

With the delay, opposition parties can recruit more volunteers to do these tasks. I'm sure they are already prepared for all these already and will not be caught off guard again.

Rock^Star SG

if they delay till 2012, it's only to the opposition's advantage. They will have worked the ground thoroughly by then. So me thinks it will be held during december holidays.

not forgetting world economy isnt doing well
there could be a recession next year.

Vote PAP OUT to Save SG SG

They might wait until after next year's budget is announced. "pre-elections" special budget to set the stage for elections.

Junyang700 SG
