I don't believe they are out of touch. They are just
simply not interested to know, if they know too much they know they
may have to come out with more money, manpower and so on which I
believe does not serve their selfish agenda.
To sum it up, they are in politics to serve themselves
only. WE are just tools for them to make use
of for money making, gaining power and so on.
The "distance" is to make a clean cut from the "others".
