Plaza Singapura should be Carrefour maintained for very long, and Suntec City should be Carrefour. But by then Carrefour all close liao - TELL THEM TO COME BACK LOL.

I'm was only born during the late the 80s

However, I had good memory of the place during the 90s and early 2000s...

Previously was looking for the "makeshift" hawker centre which used to occupy a carpark on what was either Orchard central or 313 now...

Carparks are forbidden and was replaced by 313 @ Somerset. Then can have better entertainment likewise Uniqlo, H&M, Forever 21, Topshop, Zara, New Look, Cotton On

Queensway Shopping Centres…used to be very famous in the 80s..for shoppers.

Tampines Mall was kept intact since 1995 but received renovation in 2004. The "Genki Sushi" was replaced by "Pu Tien Restaurant". It was moved to "Tonkichi Japanese Restaurant". Tampines 1 hey I like both the past and present with extensive changes.

Yes, the Chinese most of the time at the restaurants and the Malays most of the time at the void deck.

To ^Acid aka s|aO^eH~, the small park in the 80s that was directly opposite Plaza Singapura is now Dhoby Ghaut mrt station or probably next to that Dhoby Ghaut mrt station and not Somerset Mrt station as mentioned earlier in my postings. My mistake…sorry. Is the small park still there?

The tourists in the 80s used to love having a leisure cruise on the Chinese Junk embarking from Clifford Pier. The travel agency tradewinds organized that packaging for them….its something like what HongKong is doing for the tourists there. It was a very popular attraction for the tourists visiting Singapore in the 80s.

I know which park u are refering to, it is still there, though I do not know if you could consider it a park since they place some skateboard ramps and some artistic piece to lure the younger generations, i think...

no duck ride tour…duck tour started in late 90s I think.

Chinese Junk cruise to see the city skyline from the sea while enjoying a party onboard was very popular for the tourists…don’t know why they stopped that promotion..

Yes, I remembered that cable car incidence....it was due to high tide...that sea vessel hull struck that cable car wire inbetween sentosa and wtc.
