zulkifli mahmood SG I missed the Phoenix Hotel coffee house of the 80s at the specialist centre in Orchard road. I loved eating the hor fun there. They used to have buffets too most of the time. My girlfriend and I used to patronized that place. We ate, drink coffee and talked for many hours in that coffee house. The ambience there was really nice for couples to dine and chat for many hours.

zulkifli mahmood SG The days of cutting the hard boil egg for mee rebus and mee siam with a string not really lols...they still used a knife because its a half egg. My dad used string to do that during my kampong days when he had a boiled egg and needed to slice 7 even pieces for his 7 kids...lols
