Why didnt u choose it in the end? It's a nice car..with it's amazing 3-piece folding roof designed in conjunction with Pininfarina..haha..if i had the money and i wanted a Coupe-Cabriolet, i would get it..or if i'm richer i would go for a SL500.. Laughing

I don't think so leh..haha..the S40 2.4i in Singapore is only about $115,000 w/COE..for this money, u only can get an Merc A-class..haha..and the A-class cant match it for power..haha..it depends on what you get..the C70 Coupe-Cabriolet is really expensive though..about $177,000..

Frankly speaking, if you can afford a Volvo, why not? Its worth every penny. Volvo cars are one of the safest in the world. Therefore you pay for the safety technology which can safe your life one day.

A Benz car is you pay for its extremely reliablity and comfort....Safety i think good also, but not better than Volvo i think. Laughing Power also quite good...

But the only Benz car i will get is the A class... Seems really compact and cute to me. Very Happy But i till get the A200 Turbo version if i can afford it. No point buying a huge luxury car...i dont see the point in getting one .. As long as the car is compact, comfortable , has ample torque or a responsive engine ... its enough for me... Mr. Green

Volvo is a good choice if you are looking for an executive car that doesnt come with a big price tag.... I think it's flagship car, the S80, costs about $150k? Somewhere there I think...

And with this price, you get lots of new and fun gadgets... I read up on the new S80 recently... and most importantly, u get lots of safety...

If im not wrong, with the above-mentioned price, you can only get a BMW 3 series...

Yup the S80 2.5T is 151k the last time I checked. The 3.2 version costs just slightly over 170k, which is around the price of a 523. To be honest, most of the bells and whistles are only found on the 3.2, like ventilated seats, adaptive cruise control (incl collision warning system) and swivelling headlights.
