The reason why we are not having children is the ever rising costs of living.Couples both have to work and no mood to procreate cos of work stress or heavy workload.Like that,who would dare to have children?There are also FTs waiting to pounce on our jobs too cos they are so called cheaper,faster and better.Even if we have kids,they also face competition from kids of FTs.From the young to the old,we face competition from the FTs.

this is a natural progression as people want quality of life for their children and would rather concentrate their resources to give their one or two children the best possible...

whereas in places where children are seen as more future hands to help with the daily running and struggle to feed the family, they have more..

it is not solely about rising costs or whatever, it is just a natural progression now that we have access to advances in medicine, education and an opportunity to let our children be more than we can dream of...
