Is there a cheap place to fall ill? Would you like to go to
Thailand to fall ill? Medical treatment has its costs. Unless you
are fortunate enough to be treated by Doctors Sans Frontiers in
some third world country. But then, would that
be fortunate?
Somebody pays for medical costs. Even when the patient does not
pay.
And if the good doctor does not want payment, well, how long can
he last, if he is not paid in some way or other.
Thailand is not that bad. I do not know which
part of Thailand did a doctor went to for a visit and gave
good feedback. There are Singaporeans who go Thailand for
surgery and feedback was job well done and the cost is much
cheaper.
