IN YET another suspected case of mass food poisoning in
Singapore schools, 85 pupils from Paya Lebar Methodist Girls'
Primary School were hit by gastroenteritis, or stomach virus, on
Thursday last week.
They experienced symptoms ranging from nausea and abdominal pain
to fever and vomiting.
Most of them took one or two days of medical leave. None was
hospitalised, and most had returned to school by Monday.
