IT APPEARS that rats are making nests in Pasir Ris Drive 6. They
are moving around Blocks 441, 442, 443 and 444, where shops, a wet
market and a non-air-conditioned foodcourt are located.
They can be spotted searching for food in the wet market at
Block 441. I reported the matter more than 10 days ago to the
Environment Ministry, and received a response last weekend asking
for the same details I had already provided.
On Monday, at about 6.30am, I spotted rats searching for food at
the foodcourt at Block 444. Again, I reported the matter to the
ministry.
Why does it take so long for action to be taken? I do not want
to see my estate overrun by rats.
