For Chinese,
useless = no $$$-bringing capability
useful = have $$$-bringing capability
For Chinese, everything is measured by money !
not only chinese, many in the world fail to understand what rich
means. To many is the few extra digits in the account.
There is only so much one need.
Here I relate you what I really learnt from one native fisherman
in Melanesia.
He asked me why I need to fish so much? I replied we can have
some for the next few days. He then tell me why not let the fish
produce more fish in the next few days and we can still fish the
next few days.
Many of our resources are laid to waste for the extra digits in
an account.
