Please lah, they already gave you the solution.

Be cheaper, better and faster.

If somebody is asking for $1000 a month, you have to ask for $500.

And do twice the amount of work.

And in half the time.

what about ahn doh the australian vietnamese entertainer?isnt he a law degree holder in sydney!he studied so hard despite him being in such a state of poverty,,,,,,ended he got his interview for a lawyer position.the employer wanted him to work 65hrs/week which is madness in any society or even on this planet.in the end he only got 3 days of werk befor he quit.he never got a job in law after that.

the same goes for another australian vietnam war refugee who got his australian mining engineering degree. he went tinto mining but ended up being forced to retire early reeeaall early!think he must have neded up being a seat warmer for someone.he ended up setting up a vietnamese restaurant with money he saved after werking in mines.but he is way too yung to be retired....think he is like 34 years old only. spent like 8 years in a malaysian refugee camp.he looks worried all the time...sometimes dressed like a.......durian seller.

its the medical side like surgery that seems to be messy n dirty that no one wants to go into...scary too.well...if i wanna be a hitman....i might as well end up being a surgeon.

This is Home, truly.

Where I know I must be.

Where my dreams wait for me.

Where that river always flows...

You are already one step too slow.

They already called Singaporeans daft.

And yes, Singaporeans need spurs to make them work harder.

Terminator Hitman SG

then sporeans are not humans if they accept a spur from another human.

grabs yer spur breaks yer leg n practice surgery on u using my chainsaw...petrol operated.

Terminator Hitman SG

Study Mass Comms, Journalism, Film-making, Arts..sorry, you will be replaced by your Indonesian, Pinoy, Malaysian friends, who can speak more regional languages than you, and they are cheaper. PRC girls who are prettier (look at our channel 8/U news broadcasters!) Pinoy guys more handsome and Ang Mohs, speak better English than you!

I agree to the first, although the second is subjective.

Deino SG

I agree to the first, although the second is subjective.

From what I observe, I think it is probable that some men might feel that the Pinays are better at service becoz their females usually have that kinda intimate accent when speaking or promoting stuff.

Maybe its just me...

Dejomel SG

Funny, I agree with you, but I always thought that's just the trend for all foreign workers or foreign talents.

I mean, they HAVE to/should be more polite and demure and whatnot in almost everything they do since this isn't their home country, right?

True...

I do notice it even amongst their tourists too though...

I hate to give you the wet blanket, but local docs are being replaced by Indian docs.

Scientist? Can you fight with the Ang mohs? Did you look up A*Star recruitment where they advertise for positions that demand expertise which S'poreans do not possess?

Lawyers, yes, that could be one......hopefully, they don't bring in the Pakistanis, studied law in Britain, come to Singapore to look for jobs....

They do speak better english in terms of diction and pronounciation, which Singaporeans cannot match. Proof in the real world? Two of the most used personnels in call centres, Pinoys and Indians. Period.

Soon, we will have them teaching our children Taglish.

Will YOU, yes, YOU, do that? As a Singaporean, I hope you say the above in jest.
