If you have enough money to buy a BMW or Merc, please dont ever ever think of getting a WRX because a BMW or Merc is able to give you enough power on Singapore roads plus you get a luxury interior with cool gadgets! Please dont torture yourself with a car that has nothing else other than raw noisy power...
freakass SG For your information, even the lowest range of the BMW 3 series is more expensive than the WRX Sti… This explains why you see so many WRXs on the road…. simply because it’s cheap power… but the petrol consumption will kill you eventually…

Just do some maths and you will know how much is needed a mth Road tax: 2k / yr = $170 / mth Insurance: $5800 ( for less then 27 first party ) = $490 / mth Carpark: 95 ( MSCP ) Petrol: $500 ( moderate user, Heavy footer can go to 800 ) Mantainance: 350 / mth ( 1 yr maybe go for 4 - 6 servicing ) Cashcard/coupon: 150 - 300 Wash car + grooming: 100 / mth Total: $1900 This price is excluding installments. Which means it can go about $3k/mth depending on ur installment. Think deep into your pocket before deciding which car to buy. If normal 1.6 jap car, is around $1.6k / mth including installments.
