The government is clearly doing nothing to address the birth rate issue.

Setting up a dating campaign is the dumbest idea right now. Ministers get paid millions just to come up with campaigns and not doing anything about the policies? wth

Create proper and attractive marriage and child bearing policies then, come up with campaigns damnit.

The talents we are paying are like comparable to the Philippino SWAT team....

Predicaments face by Singaporean......

You see.....For others who move here this is their 2nd home....

For Singaporean this is our Only Home.

For others who move here their original country is bigger so is their domestics economies bigger than Singapore.

For Singaporean our original home is an "Island" how big can we boost our economies.....when we import everything.

I wonder if our Government Understand the different in resources endowment.

well, if it really gets too crowded, then be a foreign talent elsewhere. There are plenty of jobs in the world. We are global citizens, remember? hehe

many folks don't understand when u increase population by 5 million all other things being equal public services and capacity must expand accordingly....

....if there are crisi capacity must equally address that such as Sars virus....will spread faster given the larger and denser population. food distribution, medical distribution, etc......if there is a recession more mouth to feed.....a reverse cascade....Is the government and the people able to face all these consequences.

So public expenditure will increase.....GST goes up again....!!!

Arapahoe SG

just imagine increase HDB in pongol....ever thought about the Traffic?
