Chilly Pasternak (left) and Baby Hope Diamond (right) were the
happy couple at the world's most expensive pet wedding ever, held
as a black-tie fundraiser for the Humane Society in New York in
July 2012. The extravagant celebrations cost
$250,000.

178 dog pairs were married at a mass ceremony in Littleton,
Colorado, on 19 May 2007, making it into the Guinness Book of
Records. One of the brides is pictured here celebrating with a

Just like human weddings, dog weddings are a great place for
unattached singles to meet potential new partners. The first ever
dog wedding in India, in August 2008, had more than 100
particpants turn up to celebrate six pairs of dogs tying the
knot.
