In this standard, run-of-the-mill incident, a US college student
was arrested after the bizarre assault left his girlfriend with
some dirt marks and extremely sore eyes.
John McGuinness, 22, fired up after watching a basketball match
and, suspecting his girlfriend of an affair, attacked her with some
spicy denims.
His 21-year-old girlfriend got a text saying "he had my $200
pair of jeans and he was throwing them outside".
Having none of that, she went to confront him. But when she
arrived, McGuinness raced out and allegedly whipped her in the face
with the wasabi-covered jeans.
Needless to say, she was left shaken up and distressed with
"visible red marks on her neck" and "her right eye was visibly red
and swollen".
Cops also discovered the victim's car was discovered in Wasabi
sauce.
McGuinness admits he did it, but said she's done worse.
"Some guy she slept with in school was texting her. I want it
known I am not drunk and she is."
