Gildan Activewear smashed a Guinness World Record on
Saturday when it unveiled the world’s largest T-shirt at Country
Music Festival in Nashville. At roughly 170 feet wide and 262
feet long—nearly the size of a football field—the gargantuan topper
is the equivalent of 12,000 standard-size tees, the same number of
shirts Gildan will donate to Keep the Music Playing, a
CMA-affiliated charity that promotes music education in Nashville
schools.
