It is important for a first job... subsequencely it will be
mostly based on your experience...
Without experience, how can we hire you based on your word?
With the cert, we know there is at least a standard that you can
achieve.
But if you have been following the articles in the Straits Times
for the past weeks on Singapore Entrepreneurs (of the Year), you
will discovered that not all of them has a degree. In fact most of
them got to where they are today through sheer hardwork and the
recognising the opportunities presented to them.
So if you feel that the hours you are putting in for your company
is not rewarding, then maybe it is time for you work for
yourself.
