Tigershill SG Guys, Has anyone experienced foul smell around Sengkang area? It smells like open sewage or shit. Smell is stronger during evening or midnight.

Phantomnite SG I got smell before. Not only punggol and Sengkang, even the buangkok mrt that area there also got this stench. Smell like sewage fertiliser mixture. .
Tigershill SG It’s possible that the stench from Punggol lrt is the source. And the wind decides on who should smell it at what time. Anyway I have notified Punggol GRC CC about this. Waiting for them to respond. How can people tolerate it?
Tigershill SG Punggol GRC has replied that they are unable to detect the source. I am sure everybody can smell it and but can’t detect where it’s coming from. Stalemate. They are working with NEA to trace the source. Appreciate that they are doing it and hopefully they will find it out.
Junyang700 SG I think maybe the smell comes from TPE... Theres an exit on TPE years before where Singapore's rubbish is dumped....
Phantomnite SG How you want them to clear the smell away. I suspect its fertilisers. I smelled it many times at Seng Kang, but it can be easily brush off, cos it only occurs once in awhile nia.
ditzy SG Probably a new top layer added to the vegetation in that area. Unless it lingers around for more than a month then something needs to be done.
Phantomnite SG Today Straits Time reported that its due to this construction site along Punggol way. They accumulated 20tonnes of rotten food and rubbish which secreted out all these smell. Its so strong that I at Hougang, boderline of Seng Kang also can smell. .
