I believe stomper can write in to the cab co and make a claim
for the extra milage.
If he can't be bothered, then let it go.
Taxi companies will likely to close one eye... or even
two....
(they are unlikely to terminate their drivers unless they have
ready drivers to pay the daily rentals).
