True, but that is not the point of my reply to him. The Defender
and The Hummer are both made as a rough terrain mover and not an
urban vehicle. Therefore the basis of comparision should be made on
this platform. To say that the Defender is better cos it drives
better in an urban landscape is perhaps true, but fundamentally
wrong and definitely unfair to the Hummer.
If you want a car built for urban travel, get a jap saloon, you dun
get a Rover for that cos it does not handle well on corners and
high speed. Going by your rationale, I can even say that a cheap
1.5L saloon is better than a 100k Rover. The basis for comparison
is already wrong.
If you want a mud sloshing jungle beast, its either a Defender or a
Hummer. Therefore the comparision should be made based on this
notion.
