the importance of skills upgrading and continuing education is
the crux of survival for this generation and the future…
but we will still face the most fundamental problems, who is
going to clean the dirty linens? well someone gotta do it…if not
you or your future sons/ daughters, u need foreigns to do it as a
lowest cost of labour to sustain competitive businesses…soon china
prc will go back their wealthier homeland…..
the current problem of elderlies who were not fortunate to arm
with the knowledge base/ skills…..the system should expedite the
mandatory parents maintenance act to ensure they are given the
sufficient financial security to survive daily, aside to providing
subsidies to low income earners…etc….
as a son of singapore….it pained me more than ever to see old
people feebly pushing carts after carts of recycled and waste paper
for daily existence….
