Yes, the extended drawers can be folded down and hidden out of
the way. Since the drawer is about 1.5 cm in height, it will be
used mainly to place more lecture notes or writing materials.
We assume that students know that they have to bring their
materials along with them when they leave the lecture theatres.
True, taller students will have a disadvantage. This is one of
our limitations too, as the drawn-out panel may hit the front
student's head. Maybe we can limit the dimensions of the extendable
part so that it will not cause disturbance to the taller students
who are sitting in the front.
We can only hope that students do not move in and out of their
seats for toilet breaks that often.
