Visual C++ 6.0

Hi anyone,
I dunno how to start using Visual C++ 6.0 edition. I hope anyone can help me coz i need to start mine Software Engineering project.

Firstly, are you a student or taking any course of Programming a-not? If you tell me that you brought it just because you wanna learn by trying, then it might be a waste of time. It also depends on whether your C++ studio is Original or pirated. However, I am a novice Programmer who learned programming myself in less than 3 months. C++ is for Debugging and programming. Creating a new 'window application program' is important, followed by adding scripts. For example, some script will run a file from your Hard-disk, some will Allow user to save file as certain format. If you didn't have the basic knowledge of any C++ script, then don't even think of using the simple C++ For playing. Suggest you to learn Java or J++ beforehand.

correction.

C++ is a language. it's the format u used so that u can compile into machine codes. C++ is not for debugging. unless if you are talking the SDE itself, which is like Ms VC++ 6.0, then yes it's used for debugging and programming editor.

Learning J++ and C++ are kind of different.
I suggest you learn a basic programming language first like C before you proceed. C++ will be different though due to object oriented style that needs a new perspective in object model aspect instead of function/procedure model.

for other things, i don't think comments are necessary.....
