Hey guys, I am new here and this is my first post so please
don't be too harsh. I am a sec 4 student and I am considering DSA.
So the thing is, I would like to get into TJC's science stream
using my CCA. My results are not quite good though but I assumed
that my O level would be much better since the previous cohort's
avg L1R5 is 11(raw) and I am slightly above avg in my school so im
expecting a 10/9 for Olvl . Here are my recent Mid
Year results:
English-B4
Chinese-B3
AMaths-A1
EMaths-A2
Chemistry-B3
Physics-B4
Geography-B4
Combined Humanities-B4
Its not good (I know, I know)....Anyways, my dilemma is whether
I should at least try to get into TJC (COP-6), as the CCA im
applying for is not really that strong. I am afraid that with my
results, I would be last in the cohort or something? Is it really
very disgraceful to apply with DSA with such results? I like TJC
because of its culture and its pretty near to my house:) Any
advices? Or is other JCs more suitable for me? (p.s. I would like
to continue my CCA since its been about 6 years I took this CCA and
its offered in limited schools).
