i thought of just sharing present with my friends too. but he gave
me the present alone. he did not share with my friends for the
present. you guys think it is ok if i share present with my friends
for him? am i too much?

b) just share with friends
assuming you're correct when you say he's interested in you
thing is if you want to give him hope, its ok to give him
something you choose personally, the item itself doesn't matter
that much(just don't choose something stupid) he'll like whatever
you give him as long as he knows you made an effort to choose
something.
if you don't want your friendship to change into something else
before you make things clear with him then better to share.
if still considering , might even take him as "spare tire", can
also buy him one by yourself.
