When I first
started listening to the Morning Express on the radio, I found it
quite enjoyable. However after listening for sometime, I find them
boring & not interesting anymore. Here’s why:
1.
Besides just putting on songs, they are going through the
same routine everyday and simply reading what’s published in the
newspapers or something off the internet.
2.
The report on traffic watch before 6:30 am, might as well be
a recording. What kind of traffic situation do you expect at 6:20
am?
3.
You have a guy who’s laughing at everything and sometimes
over nothing while the other guy doesn’t (that tells me either 1
guy is not getting the joke, nor find it funny or the other guy is
the only person laughing at his own joke) And when the younger guy
does laugh, he sounds like a nerd. Ok, on a few rare occasions,
they were funny but other times, you can tell their laugher is
forced and so artificial.
4.
One guy is always trying to show off his singing skills and
it sucks.
5.
The younger guy is always asking questions (sometimes naive
ones) or pretending he doesn’t knows the answer to some simple
questions.
Sorry guys, as far
as I’m concerned, the old chap can go fly a kite and the younger
guy,… just GO.
They call it the
Morning Express. I call it the Morning Depress and I have been
feeling better ever since I stopped listening to
them.
Note to FD &
GO: Just my personal opinion. If the feedback is only positive,
then maybe it’s just me and you guys are not that bad
afterall.
