Changing Brake

Hi Experts,

I am thinking of changing my current ride brake systems.

I am currently driving a Toyota car. My brake is stock. Front disc, rear drum.
I am thinking of changing the front to a 4 pots, while changing the rear to a 2 pot disc brake.

The question on my mind is.
The mounting bracket - This "new" set i am changing does NOT have a mounting bracket that fit my car.....so i need to customise one.

Problem???
- Will it be UNSAFE for the ride? Fault and problems arise from the customise mounting bracket?
- How much is it to customise one?
- Anyone know any reliable workshop that can do this?

So finally, your opinion? Worth doing it or NOT?

take note….insurance will void once u convert yr rear drums to discs….tts wad my friend who drives a lancer told me….wanted 2 upgrade but end up chucked the idea aside cos of insurance

My friend already did it and he did also checked with his insurance (AXA).

What you have to do is to tell them (AXA) and your preimum would go up. My friend paid around $75 and got his conversion convered.

So insurance would NOT be an issue as i am with AXA too.
