it not a good feeling to be ignored when u r trying to just do ur job right.

thats y earlier i said that some people r just so 'dao' stuck up snobbish people, who think as though since we r salespersons/serving waiters, we r ought to be treated like... e.g. their servants.

other countries' salespersons do follow u around during ur shopping in their shops, like ur personal concerige/assistance... and its not for ur tippings...

Yea..But, u can make it go ur way. It's ur "territory" afterall. The rule of thumb is, just be pleasant all the time while u r being insistence & ur customers will LL, since u hav been "nice & helpful" the whole of time. Customers will pick on the Service Providers when they detect a slightest tinge of rudeness.

reminds me of the time i went to marks and spencer..this particular sales assistant greeted me at the door and practically shadowed me...and when I went to the fitting room to try a blazer, she knocked on the door after every 30 seconds asking me whether it suits me fine or whether i need another size..i went to the chocolates area, she was also there...even recommending me which ones to buy..she even offered recommendations at the lingerie area...damn dulan...i purposely get many shirts and then tell her, i dun intend to make any purchases...

That usually happens at convenient shops(i think that's what it's called). But it happened once or twice in shopping malls.
