Hey guys you noe wad? I have passed my TP test with 8 points.. Good results right? a lot of ppl and frens actually congrates me.. and i am quite satsified with myself.

The next day i passed the test, i drove my DAD car, toyota camry.. Can u imagine? from a HONDA CITY TO TOYOTA CAMRY? the transition was like .. HUGE.. . okie.. thats not the point. My dad asked me to drive his car.. basically jus round the basement carpark in my house. then he asked me to do a parking.. U NOE WAD. THE side mirror LONG TIO the pillar!! I was so shocked and frightened at that time.. and scratches along the car body.. sad right,,now i have phobia in driving le..

OKie.. not only that, while drivin on the road, I was like so despair and not cofident at all. I cant drive based on my basic instinct. I have to follow my dad's instructions here and then. and he will keep on scolding and scolding throghout the whole journey. Sometimes i realli wonder, did the tester realli tink i can drive? am i suitable to fit that license?

Am i fit to be a driver. ??

I have sigh up for the driver's orientation lesson. Hopefully i will gain back my confidence.

It takes time to familiarize yourself with real driving conditions…. Start off by driving around your neighbourhood where you are familiar with…. It would be best if you dont drive alone first… It is good if your dad is there to guide you first… It takes time lah… After some time, you’ll be very used to it…. Take it easy…. There’s still lots to learn even after passing the driving test… Parking especially….

i agree. parents sure very naggy. even u do correctly, they will still hv something to say.

'ah ya, drive too fast, follow too closely behind the car, dont keep pressing accelerator, n so on...'

so, sometimes, no matter how confident or 'zai', u also kenna pour cold water. so gather ur courage, drive w/o ur dad. but mayb not to too crowded places, eg orchard 1st.

Got licence doesnt mean safe driver.. drivers with accident history tend to be safer.. learn from ur mistakes.. juz be safer in future..

eg. taxi drivers, delivery m/cycles, vans. construction lorries.

Well, you can try to drive short distance from point A to point B
but always be in the center lane or left lane unless turning right/U-turn etc.
For long journey or new journey its better to get your Dad with you so he can guide you. I know sometimes its frustating to see your Dad nagging. But after a while. You can drive well. Dun forget to check blind spot too and be very careful with Bikers and pedestrians. Keeping a long distance from the car infront of you helps too

How about taking your new license and go to JB market to do parallel parking on slope on manual while mum conveniently goes to market ?

JB have one way lanes on slope whereby you park on the side: in-front lorry, behind mercedes.
