corolla altis 1.6 Very Happy

Ah Chong SG

Why?

Honda Civic... Mr. Green

If You Look For The Sporty Look
Mitsubishi Lancer1.6 Sports (A)

If Not Wait For The New Toyota Corolla Axio

n0x SG

Why?

well if u dun mind the ah pek looks....

its more frugal of the two.... smooth tranny and engine....fulfils the basics very well...

juz that interior a bit boring....but hey all the creature comforts are available...

to get ard the ah pek look can buy in black...upgrade ur rims... it will look pretty decent

cos to start off with... its not really an ugly car... juz tt's its too common... and a lot of pple drive it...

but looking at what the rest of the field is offering... u get the idea why... the most value for $$$....

yesh and i agree if budget is not ur concern get the civic FD 1.6 or better still the 1.8...

nightsky87 SG

Axio already available here by PI

tys SG

got picture of Axion?

tys SG

thank you
any idea how much it would cost?

allblacks SG

if you can afford , get the FD civic 1.6..if u're on buget and looking for a decent car that provides comfort, power and fuel efficiency, get the altis.. and if you go for looks, get the LANCER! Laughing

but overall,i still choose the FD civic 1.6..hehe..

cheers,

Ah Chong SG

Wow most ppl choose civic Very Happy

Altis84 SG

Is the civic 1.6 unpowered? Cos initially they are only available in 1.8 and 2.0 versions...

I dun think borneo will be bringing in the axio as shown in the picture... there is another G10 corolla which looked like the new camry... saw it in one of the threads here...i think they will bring in that instead since the PI is offering the abv axio already.

Hrmm corolla altis not very ah pek lah... get the black one... change some nice rims... install bodykit and maybe a pair of white halogen bulbs... quite nice already.

Lancer.... no comments... not many on the road... so u should know which is a better choice ah. Mr. Green

n0x SG

the 1.6 is actually a 1.8 with a shorter stroke... translates to loss of invaluable low end torque... go figure... Laughing

T.Ryousuke SG

Answer is on the road.

revotune SG

you are dam right!

every make have their lemon la, it is only how much!

revotune SG

toyota anytime pal

allblacks SG

bro,u're wrong la..lancer,alot on the road also.u should say there are more youngsters driving this car compared to altis. and cammon la! civic won't be underpowered, and their car,if there is no race, there is no HONDA...!!! Laughing

Altis84 SG

oh i c hrmmm

but since thread starter only gave 2 choices... without civic...

den i will choose altis. Mr. Green

jus-tea SG

Agreed. Altis for it's Gd FC, acceleration and interior. oh it also has a kissass aircon! super strong. BUT it's common on the road and it's common for older pple. Lancer a lil rough and the interior looks kinda bad no? out dated. and YES a civic if budget's not ur concern Razz

allblacks SG

now give u my final choice out of this two,i get the ALTIS,it looks more classier inside with good fuel economy.

cheers...
