my modem is new, so im dead sure is my connection. happens to me at night only. daytime my connection is ok. also seems that i can't visit alot of websites. have to keep refreshing.

mine seemed to happen after i recontract
connection occasionally blanks out for a good 10 seconds den resume -_-

The disconnection is starting to annoy me... Some websites I can't access, then take so long to load a webby, till the extend it says "Page can't be displayed"... I have to refresh a few times to get it to work, or sometimes refreshing doesn't even work at all

Disconnection issues with Singnet is common, and in fact well known in the Broadband market.

And thats why i recommend Starhub MaxOnline for customers who place/prefer stability over speed. Even though Starhub is slower(due to IP technology), disconnection issues is rarely or not even heard of.

Last time when I viwawa also like this. This only happens in the night time, esp ard 8-9pm.

Play half way suddenly DC.

The DSL indicator LED on the modem will start to go off

Only returns after 5 mins or when I restart the modem.

I singnet, just recontracted 3 mths ago with no problems at all... If its not your modem's fault, then its either your wire, your com or the land line's fault...

My Singnet used to go off too and we got the technician over because it just goes off for no reason

In the end the problem was found to be caused by my modem wire

After changing wires there were no longer any problems

I had a similar prob 2 yrs ago... my internet keep disconnecting so they called a technician... it turns out that its the land line's fault and there is a component in the ground box somewhere that need to be replaced... I connection is restored within 1 hr and it never got disconnected ever since... except for the taiwan quake ofcourse...
