The best time to buy is October. That's when the next model year
cars get launched. Dealers need to sell current year models to make
room on the lot for next year's models. December's not too bad. Do
you currently have a car? If you do, don't let the dealer know you
want to trade in. Pick a car first, haggle over the price. Once you
have a firm price, then let them know you want to trade in.
If you don't have a trade, just remember to haggle, haggle, haggle.
I love to haggle. We once haggled over a used car for 4 hours.
